ACTIVITIES
Guests will experience the spirit of Mount White Station through a captivating landscape rich in pastoral history, with a range of custom activities designed to make the most of the rugged and isolated terrain
Experience an adventurous offroad farm experience coupled with prepared rustic picnic hampers, wildlife spotting, or experience our "from Pollen to plate" beekeeping experience.
For groups who like to relax, enjoy a walk to Lake Letatiti. Cool off in the crystal clear waters of Lake Letitia, kick back on the jetty and enjoy the Bellbird/korimako birdsong while taking in the vista of the surrounding mountain ranges.
To impress your team, reward your group with an adventurous 4wd tour around one of New Zealand's largest privately-owned high country stations, taking in the turquoise braided rivers of the Waimakariri and Esk Rivers.
The Cookshop
The Cookshop is where our hospitality and cuisine come together.
Here at Mount White, we believe in providing our team with nourishing food; where possible, seasonal fruit and vegetables will be harvested from our extensive orchard and no-dig gardens.
To offer guests a truly authentic taste of high country station life, guests staying in the new Shearers' Quarters, meals will be provided by our residence cook in the Mount White Station Cookshop.
(We will, of course, cater to any special dietary requirements when advised.)
ACCOMMODATION
Mt White Station’s Accommodation is designed to reflect the shared nature of High country living but far more luxurious.
The Shearers' Quarters has two private twin/king ensuite rooms with the remaining rooms being a mix of four or six person ‘bunk rooms’ with shared bathroom facilities.
The six-person rooms have two double beds and two single upper bunk beds.
The four-person rooms have four singles.
All our rooms have large beds with luxurious bedding and modern fittings with plenty of space for everyone to store their personal belongings.
Make use of the entire lodge with an exclusive booking for your whole team for up to 24 people, or spread your group out across the seven rooms.
The large and inviting lounge with a dining area, wood fire and sunny decks overlooking the vegetable gardens and orchard, make the perfect wind down space for the team to enjoy.
Beyond the Shearers Quarters, Mt White Station also offers new modern backcountry huts, which lend themselves to leadership and team programs, away from civilisation and life's distractions, in a truly stunning and inspiring location on a scale often not experienced in New Zealand.
