BE INSPIRED BY OUR HUMBLE YET INDUSTRIOUS BEES

Honey production is the alchemy of the natural world, turning simple nectar into life giving and healthy honey. Follow our expert bee-keepers and discover how this magic works, from the creation of the hives to the bottling of the honey.

You’ll don a full-body apiarist suit and venture to a nearby active beehive in its natural high-country landscape, set amongst black beech forest, Kānuka and Mānuka.

With the safety and guidance of our experienced beekeepers. You will have the opportunity to approach the hives and see how the bees work together to thrive and produce some of our delicious honey.

Follow the process through to our extraction shed which transforms the honey from the honeycomb to the honey jar.

Of course, you can’t end the day without having the chance to taste the different varieties of honey we produce. Multi-floral mānuka, Pure Honey Dew, 100% natural and raw high-country honey.
